sw.HEATHlab.net first Android App: San Diego Parking Meters.
Android app that shows locations of parking meter in downtown San Diego. Tap on the individual flags to find details (see below) about maximum time, price per hour and enforcement time (for reference only). Data is pulled from the City of San Open Data Portal and then overlaid with a Google Map API.
Uses:
- Find parking meters that can accommodate your parking time. Don't search meters which have maximum time of 30 minutes when you'll be gone for 1 hour.
- Find cheaper meters. If a meter is cheaper one block over, use the cheaper one.
- Find a parking meter. Start searching in an area with more meters than in an area with fewer.
